On June 26th,China Energy Construction Corporation released the world’s first 660MW compressed air energy storage system solution,and introduced the planning and layout of building a 3060MW new energy storage base in Shandong Province,as well as empowering the new vision of”West East Power Transmission”.Heze City,Shandong Guohui,China Petroleum Bohai Drilling Company,Shaangu Group,Shanghai Electric Power Station Group and other units have signed three cooperation agreements with China Energy Construction Corporation,including the”China Energy Construction 660MW Compressed Air Energy Storage System Core Equipment Technology Research and Development Cooperation Agreement”.
The 3060MW energy storage base is located in the southern part of Huanggang Town,Shan County,Heze City,Shandong Province.It is jointly invested by China Energy Engineering Corporation and Shandong Guohui,with a total investment of over 20 billion yuan.It is the first large-scale green power consumption hub project in China to receive electricity,and also the first project in China to adopt the”salt electricity joint venture+integrated mining and storage”cluster development model.It has created three new world records:the world’s largest new energy storage base,the world’s largest customized salt mine cavity energy storage base,and the world’s first(set)single machine power 600MW level compressed air energy storage power station.
The world’s first(set)China Energy Construction 660MW compressed air energy storage system solution is an innovative,practical,and economical new energy storage solution with independent intellectual property rights,which is a concentrated embodiment of China Energy Construction’s assistance in developing new quality productivity.This plan aims to upgrade China Energy Construction’s 300MW compressed air energy storage system to 600MW through engineering verification and technological upgrades.
